Penny's Temperment Evaluation

FAIL. Well, partially anyway. We want to increase her socialization in preperation for our baby, so we brought her to a doggy day care, K9 Klub Playcenter near my work. It's a really nice boarding facility, and pretty reasonably priced--if she had passed the temperment evaluation. Well, they will accept her for 1/2 days and slowly introduce her to other dogs. We'll see how she does with that!

Penny's getting pretty good at climbing trees! She looks kinda tiny. But she's way up there in the tree!

Penny decided to climb a tree over the weekend. She jumped from about 5 and 1/2 feet and pulled herself up onto the branch.

Then she hopped onto the adjacent branch for better footing.

Her motivation was a squirrel.

Happy Thanksgiving

It's been a while since we've posted anything. I guess a lot of things happened in between. We went on vacation, Penny got her teeth cleaned, our family dog Lucy passed away at the age of 15 and 1/2...But yesterday was thanksgiving and we took Penny and our other family dog Jenny(she's lonely now since Lucy passed) up to the park by my parents' house. Here they are exploring. Well, here is Jenny exploring and Penny being very ladylike!

Lucy, rest in peace. She peacefully passed away last November 18th, surrounded by her family and friends. We'll miss her!
