Penny and the tree

Penny decided to climb a tree over the weekend. She jumped from about 5 and 1/2 feet and pulled herself up onto the branch.

Then she hopped onto the adjacent branch for better footing.

Her motivation was a squirrel.

Happy Thanksgiving

It's been a while since we've posted anything. I guess a lot of things happened in between. We went on vacation, Penny got her teeth cleaned, our family dog Lucy passed away at the age of 15 and 1/2...But yesterday was thanksgiving and we took Penny and our other family dog Jenny(she's lonely now since Lucy passed) up to the park by my parents' house. Here they are exploring. Well, here is Jenny exploring and Penny being very ladylike!

Farewell Lucy!

Lucy, rest in peace. She peacefully passed away last November 18th, surrounded by her family and friends. We'll miss her!

Vampire dog...

Penny had an abscess, that we didn't know about. It exploded last night. It kinda reminded me of a vampire bite...

Penny went to the vet and is on antibiotics now. Don't know how it happened, but at least she'll be ok...

Dog Party!

Penny was invited to a dog birthday party this weekend. It was at the Marin Humane Society(really nice dog park by the way!). Here is Penny with the birthday dog Kensie (black morkie) and Louie (fellow rescue dog).

Penny, of course, was a little trouble maker, bark-y, party police, etc. But, here she is enjoying the doggie birthday cake:

It has been so hot in the city this week. Poor Penny! She's a hot dog!

If it's hot tomorrow, we're heading for the beach!
